On another note, Forrest set himself up for that point deduction like Merchant was saying by not touching gloves. AND I TOLD ALL OF YOU FORREST WOULD DO THAT!!! He never touches gloves, never even looks at his opponent. I told my girlfriend right before it happened and sure enough he didn't touch gloves. WHAT THE **** IS WITH HIS ATTITUDE!!! I still like Forrest as a fighter, but he lost tonight. He better do the right thing and give Quartey a rematch.

One more thing, I told my girlfriend in the 2nd round Forrest needed to throw an uppercut and as soon as he did he had Quartey holding on for dear life. From then on, Forrest just sort of went into cruise control. I think Forrest is nowhere near the fighter he once was, but I will pick him to win a rematch just like I picked him to win tonight. But I am NOT happy he got the decision because he did NOT win the fight.

Last thing: It sounds like Terdsak gave JMM a fight, lol. Did anyone watch that piece of **** broadcast (which actually seems to have had better fights albeit 4 much crappier fighters)? So where does Terdsak rank p4p now that he gave JMM a fight because everybody and their gradma put JMM top 10-15 p4p for getting his **** pushed in by Pacquiao and losing to Chris John, so surely Terdsak is in everyone's top 15 right now, lol.
I also had Quartey winning 96 to 95.

I'm also a Forrest fan, but I had him losing by couiple of points. I think the ref was an *******, no need to take a point away from Forrest.

I think Forrest did more damage to the body, but Ike did score more in my eyes.

Also I want to point out that many of these rounds were pretty close, I can't see some scoring it for Forrest.

I wanted Forrest to win, but not in this way.

I thought the score cards would be somewhat closer than Leddermans card. But I was surprised by the decision. It was pretty shamefull.

This is the kind of fight that you have to lock at twice or three times.

i was there live tonight and after the decision the ENTIRE crowd was in shock. idk if u guys could here it, but the entire crowd broke out in a "bull****" chant started by my row.

              It was awsome.

I really want to watch this fight again when its aired again on HBO. i had it a draw in my mind. With the point deduction i had quartey winning by 1

As did I. It's amazing how once I put it out there, I initially get flamed by enraged Quartey fans, but everyone else slowly comes forward with the exact same score. That's already 3 in this thread who scored it like me.

I watched this fight on TV. At times there seemed like complete silence from the crowd.

Was it me or did both Forrest and Ike look like they barely broke a sweat. I mean they fought as best they could but both guys looked dry as **** before , during and after!

I agree completely. They did not fight, period. I'm actually pretty ****ing pissed off about it because they both needed a big win to save their careers and neither even appeared to be going after it. They were on cruise control way too much. And yeah, the crowd was absolutely silent after one of the late rounds, I think the 8th. But God damn were they loud with those bull**** chants.

lol, yah it seemed like a glorified sparring session. No risks were takin whatsoever by either fighter. Even larry Merchants post fight sendoff how he talks to us viewers on the nights events seemed boring and listless. LOL , even Manny Steward didnt know what to say! I just dont know Jim...I just dont know where Forrest goes from here, lol.
