Be honest, Michael Grant could have gone 40-something and 0 in this era

As an american i cant deny tyson furys skills. His ring iq is amazing. He wore down wilder. Leaning 273 lbs on anybody tires them. Idk why wilder didnt throw short rights to ribs during tieups. Fury just better boxer and had brillant gameplan. Joshua gets schooled too. If ref in parker fight let them fight inside he wouldve lost. I wanna c Dubois fight these guys. U gotta rough up fury and b able to fight on inside and b able to slip his jab to get inside. Working his body is best way 2 beat fury besides a lucky punch. Until then he will b king of division. I liked grant when he was coming up but he was overated and bit of headcase. His big size was why he was hyped up. Now a lot of guys r 6'7 with muscles.Every time americans dont have belt in a division its a 'weak era'. This happens every damn time. If Joshua and fury were american youd all be saying its the hottest division in boxing and two of the best p4p fighters. But cause its two brits holding all the belts and weve got the best prospects too, the division must be ****e...Let me guess, 154 is the best division now?Comment

Your threads are getting annoyingly idioticI really don’t care about the nationality of the heavyweight champion.
And honestly, besides the 90s and the 70s, the heavyweight division has always been weak outside of the dominant champion.
This era was being built up as another 70s or 90s type era.
It’s the Klitschko era but Fury is the new Klitschko. That’s all.
That’s what usually happens.
Far far better than the klitschko era, and Michael Grant is closer to Gerald Washington level than Wilder. I dont think any logical boxing fan would put this era up with the 90s.
Fury, Wilder, and Joshua all have great talent but are flawed, particularly Wilder and Joshua.
The 90s guys weren't late starters, that's the main difference I see. Holy, Lewis, Bowe had a proper amateur pedigree. But even then Fury would not have been out of place in a boxing ring with any of them, he may have lost but he would have belonged in that ringComment

Wilder wouldve prolly sparked out grant post lewis. That fight exposed him and mcclne fight took his confidence. The grant that beat corey sanders maybe beats wilder. Idk how he won bronze medal 2 b honest.Comment

With a better chin and with a much larger set of balls. He always fights the best and giving us boxing fans the fights that we want to see. Which is why he is no longer undefeated. The man takes risks.
No true boxing fan can hate on a man like Deontay Wilder unless they have an obvious and nefarious hidden agenda. Had he ducked this rematch with Fury, then all you haters would have shitted all over him.Comment

I always had hbo and showtime. Black box back in 90s for ppv fights. I didnt mind 3 times a year buying ppvs. Its insane now. U gotta subscribe to espn plus then also pay for ppv. Dazn to me is weak. Buying all these dif streaming services is just like buying hbo and showtime minus good tv shows. Im 38 and not a tech guy but streamed my first fight last nite. Wasnt paying to c charles martin topping undercard. When it was on hbo id get boxing, shows like sopranos and the wire, and movies. Can somebody please explain to me the perks of these espn plus and dazn nonsense? Like i said im not a tech guy so lmk if im missing out. Im not cheap either. Ive been buying ppvs since the black cable boxes became irrelevant.Comment

It’s not far better than the Klitschko era.
In fact, it’s worse because there were two Klitschko brothers. They just didn’t fight each other. Surrounded by bums like Tyson Fury is today.
Fury wouldn’t have been out of place in the 90s but he might have been something like #8 in the world. Now he’s six classes ahead of everyone else.
