I will say Ruiz wont be as easy to hit as Wilder and is faster on his feet than Wilder, as well as throws punches that are clearly faster than Wilder as a comparison, that is certain....but styles make fights and Fury would most likely fight Ruiz differently and a different dynamic would result. Solid matchup for sure. I'm not sure if the millions haven't softened Ruiz's desire to be his best. We know Ruiz has fought some tall fighters. I cant say with certainty who wins, but slight edge to Fury who would probably pump the jab overtime.

Ruiz. Wilder waits too long to throw and Ruiz is willing to ****. Ruiz inside with that hand speed is all bad for Deontay. We all knew he had no basics, no defense and no real boxing talent. All he has is a right hand and ability to take big shots. Big heart but that can be dangerous for him.

I would favour Wilder but not by a lot, 60/40 pretty much. Ruiz is a scrappy guy with a good chin, decent power and hes better technically than Deontay. Wilder would need to use his range and try to snipe from miles away instead of getting into a dogfight.
