Sanity, in a sea of madness.
I've never seen this place in such an upheaval of bvllshyt over a clear win, but it's good to see some objectivity thru it all.Comment

Like so many before him, Wilder was the puncher who neglected everything except that power. He should really change up his trainers and focus on trying to setup that power instead of waiting on an opponent to make a mistake.
Lemieux is another guy who had such narrow tunnel vision that he lacked balance and coordination. Their greatest strength becomes their greatest weakness.Comment

People get messed up for just having water stuck in their ear.
So, I don't know. Something was up with Wilder though. Not his usual self, even beyond what Fury was doing to him, it was weird that he couldn't keep his balance even on a body shot. No way a body punch should send you backwards like that.
Regardless though, I don't know why people want to make a meal of it. It's like the fighter you hate losing isn't enough and you have to go out of your way to make it a point and drag his name through the mud on top of it.
It's lame really.Comment

For now, I'm going to leave you boys to your celebration. I'll give Tyson Fury his props. He did do what he set out to do and that was to stop Deontay Wilder.
He kept Wilder on the back foot by neutralizing his right hand equalizer. However, he was unable to break Deontay's spirit or keep him on the canvas though; Which is the mark of a good chin and huge championship balls.
The Bronze Bomber ate every punch Tyson landed and even got up from both knockdowns with one of them being dubious at best and by the end of the fight he still finished it on his feet.
Don't worry; He'll come back even stronger and better next time in the rematch. This time he will knock Tyson Fury out again like he did in their first bout absent of Jack Reiss being the referee.Comment
