To those who want a 3rd fight..

Between Fury-Wilder, why? What else can Wilder do to beat Fury? This fight wasn't a close split decision loss or a controversial loss that Wilder could have won, this was a massacre and Fury completely ripped Wilders heart out. Battered him and made it look easy while doing it. From the first Fury punch, Wilder looked done.

Honestly, what else can Wilder do, especially at his age? Do people honestly believe he can regroup and beat Fury in a 3rd fight? Fury had him beat in the 1st fight, and he made sure of it tonight.

What else can be done after a beating like that? Can Wilder box him and win a UD? No. Can he KO Fury when Fury already took his punches? Doubtful since Fury figured Wilder and his power out. Seriously, any strength that Wilder thought he had, Fury negated it and made Wilder look like he's never been in a boxing ring.

Whatever it is, a 3rd fight isn't needed. I actually felt bad seeing Wilder get beat that way, i don't think anybody was expecting a beatdown like that. He was manhandled and beaten to a bloody mess. He can barely speak in the post fight interview.

They're different weight classes. I don't want to see a guy getting pummeled by a bigger man. Especially when the bigger man is also much the better boxer.

That is not what your internet history says.

Truth. Going in there for a 3rd fight right away is suicide.. i don’t think wilder even wants it again, but the pressure of his team might make him sign it..

If fury wants a legacy he has to fight AJ next What will 3 wins over the yank prove? Wilder is just easy meat for him now.

It’s not the best choice but let’s be real , what other options does he really have
He ain’t young and it’s going to be very hard to learn anything new at this stage
Take the third beating I mean fight and cash out

Doesn’t seem much point. A trilogy is happens when the fights are close, or one a piece, something like that.

A half fit Fury should’ve got a decision over Wilder. Now he faced real Fury and took a hell of a beating.

I don’t even see people being excited about the rematch and saying “Wilder still has a huge punch”. People saw the difference in levels now. Deontay is a still a good level fighter. If all it took was a big punch, David Price would’ve gotten to that level. So Wilder is certainly of a certain level, but you need more than a big punch to beat Tyson Fury and now everyone saw.

I’m not sure how much interest there will be around the rematch now.

Still, it’s Wilder’s right to exercise the clause, so if he does then fair play, we’ll see it again. I can’t see what he can do though. Fury is just on a different level to him.

Depends on how bad Wilders ear is. Wilder can be done for good. That same injury ruined my brother in law’s career. Never got to turn pro after the 2000 Olympics.

Wilders best hope is to let Fury fight AJ and pray AJ wins, Wilder has a better chance of beating chinny, robotic AJ than he ever does Fury.
