I agree. Wilder would have a chance against Joshua in my opinion. Fury is clearly the best HW in the division and would beat Joshua convincingly, if not knock him out.

The shame of it is that Wilder could have been the undisputed HW champion of the world, had he agreed to take limited money against Joshua in 2018 or 2019.

Wilder probably has to take the rematch clause against Fury inAugust, or lose credibility for big fights. That’s too bad, as I doubt he has an answer for Fury, but would probably have a good chance against Joshua.

He's still young, he's still got the power and speed. He could knock out AJ and take his belts if he wants it bad enough.

TBH unlikely AJ will want to take the risk if Wilder doesn't have any belts though.

Wilder got demolished by the most skillful HW of the modern era. AJ got crushed by the biggest underdog since Buster Douglass. i give AJ props for bouncing back mentally from that. Wilder can bounce back since there's only one Fury out there, i don't think other HW's can avoid his right hand. but this fight should motivate him to add other weapons. just adding a check hook to his game would make Wilder better.

All that talk about “going out in my shield” was the best reason in the world for his trainer to throw in the towel. Really motivated fighters have to be saved from themselves sometimes. Wilder’s trainer made the right move.

Wilder was beating from pillar to post by a guy not known for having power, forget Wilder landing his right, if the other heavyweights with power start landing on him first he's going down. AJ would be favourite to beat Wilder by KO if they meet anytime soon

One of Wilder's biggest flaws is his "side jab." Put simply, his jab sucks. He throws it sideways and seems to use it just as a range finder for the right hand.

With Wilder's physique, his jab should resemble a fighter like Ali or Larry Holmes. A stiff crisp fast jab that does damage and sets up other punches in the offense.

For me wilder needs to rematch fury or take on someone like Whyte or Povetkin. He desperately needs to win though so needs to be careful with his selection. Povetkin makes a lot of sense to me.

That was his ego talking, in actual fact Wilder knew he was done after the 5th round. He was bleeding from the nose, mouth and ears. He essentially quit when he stopped throwing any punches. He was a sitting duck for Fury and he could have been hurt even worse, he needs to thank Breland, but knowing how delusional him and his yes men Team is, he would fire Breland.
