Wilder/Fury 2: Can someone PLEASE explain that BS point deduction from Bayless?

I mean...I watched it. And it almost felt like Bayless was doing everything he could to help Wilder out.

That point deduction in Round 5 - I found no explanation for it unless I missed it. If it was hitting off the break, I didn't hear him say "Stop". It just came out of nowhere and I thought the fix was in.

Kudos to Fury for not letting it go to the judges. But Bayless pissed me off with that.

Fury got a KD he had to take a point to even it up. He also picked when Wilder was about to go down again to stop the fight and warn both fighters.

          Here's the point deduction again.

APPARENTLY it was for Fury holding Wilder's arm down. Yet Bayless said nothing with Wilder's rabbit punches.

Wilder was getting beat up a little too much for these crooks. They had to do all they could to make it a even fight

Bayless is also one of em refs who don’t allow you to work inside.. if your an inside fighter then bye bye to your chance of winning when he’s the ref. I think this fight would’ve ended earlier if he allows both fighters to work off the clinch at times when they’re not really tied badly.

I thought the deduction was uncalled for too.. he didn’t even issue an initial warning. And both men were rabbit punching on the clinch

Wilder is the more exciting fighter with the highlight reel KOs so hes more marketable. Fury is the man though. To take those hard shots in the first fight and come back for more. Knowing that you might get robbed again when you could always make excuses saying you really won.To say your goin to take it to him and then actually do it. Im in shock. Fury is the man.

I didn’t agree with the point deduction but Fury was getting a little too cute with not breaking right away and leaning on Wilder. He did warn them both that he would start taking points. Right before the point deduction he literally had to slap Fury on the back to get him to release.
Bayless has his rep but I think he was also a little annoyed with Fury. Good thing it did not affect the outcome. Don’t need that in a major heavyweight championship fight.
