Go watch wilder in that post press if you think he’s anything that look confident to try again.. Either way we’ll know if uses his clause these next few weeks.

So what’s the point to go out there again if you not gonna do anything different? You mean try with that right hand again? You only be doing more harm than good to yourself and career.

I say let him regroup, gain his confidence and let him at least develop whatever little things he can to handle that type of approach.. going back there carrying the same tools won’t help and is ******.. he gonna get beat down worse against fury who is now full of belief..

Wilder is obviously going to be devastated suffering his first defeat like any other fighter. But nothing he said after the fight shows if he has lost any confidence or not. We will just have to see.

But again, develop what exactly? What is he going to develop at this point of his career at the age of 34? His road to victory IS the right hand and whether he can land it flush or not. Maybe he can try to jab more as he had some success today but he's not developing much more in his skill set. He is what he is.

Glad that HW boxing is back to champions with great techniques. I like Wilder and he is an outlier in the boxing history, although some might argue that his resume is thin. At 6'7 Wilder is the biggest elite HW today, even taller than AJ, DDD, Lennox Lewis, or Rid**** Bowe. Now he fought taller, heavier, and more skilled fighter in Fury and Wilder is just not capable enough to adjust. Kind of remind me of Bowe vs. Herbie Hide where as much as Herbie Hide a strong puncher, the impact to the bigger man was not significant. Even on 12th round knock down during the first fight, the punch didn't seem to wobble Fury as he was still able to fight back and even rocked Wilder - that's a massive psychological gain

Finally! Wilder exposed as the non-skilled fighter that he is. His corner threw in the towel about 2 rounds after he was done. I thought Fury would win by close decision, but the KO came as a surprise.

Dude Fury is 6'9", 273lbs, 85" reach. None of those HW's you mentioned have the size to wear down Wilder like Fury did.

These are athletic giants from a new era fighting eachother.

Lewis has the best chance out of the bunch, and even he would have a really hard time with the size of these new era HW's.

AJ's weak chin would put him in jeopardy in round 1 vs any of those. But Fury and Wilder have pretty damn good chins. That was a lot of punishment Wilder took from a giant, and he really wasn't put OUT. He was put down, he was technically knocked out, but he wasn't put out despite the massive amount of punishment he withstood.

You dudes need to stop talking about how smaller boxers from older eras can somehow overcome any HW from this era no matter the size.

It's about as ****** as saying Marciano, at 5'10" 190lbs, can beat a prime Lennox Lewis.

In boxing, size matters, that's why there's weight classes. In HW, their being no limit, you can have some really bad mismatches and have a good HW lose due to being overpowered, outweighed, and his power punches don't hurt the bigger man.

My point was, he had a target that was walking back with pretty much his hands down, exhausted from being leaned on etc. He did not have the skill to get him out of there with accurate clean shots like a good/great heavyweight could. You can add hundreds of names next to the ones I used. Andrew Golota would have dispatched straight away when he was doing that. None of these guys are good, none. Not about eras

Wilder got hit with a reality check tonight, just like AJ did in June. I hope this loss humbles Wilder a bit and that it allows him to grow.

I neglected to watch most of the pre-fight interviews, so I was not prepared for this. Like elite fighters do, Fury adjusted his style/strategy to neutralize his opponent's strengths. He made it look so easy partially because Wilder doesn't have many strengths to begin with.

It's kind of funny...but before the start of the 7th I looked at Wilder and thought his corner was going to stop it before he got off the stool and was surprised when they didn't mention anything to him about doing so. Instead they tried to give him advice when he looked like he was done. But I guess they knew they were going to stop it unless he somehow could get in the fight that round...which obviously didn't happen.Wilder looked scared at the size of Fury and back-up the whole fight. He can cash in on a rematch I guess but Fury has his number. I think he'll grab the money...lose and retire.
