He’s not wrong to think so and it was that break where they took a look at fury that gave him a second wind. He realized how close it was to getting stopped so he stepped on the gas. Fury was nervous the day before the fight over how light he was as well. It’s all on his reality show that’s currently airing. There was a genuine concern over that eye. The reality show is a good view into fury between fights but the guy clearly has bipolar where he bounces back between narcissistic behavior and an aloof personality. Great guy deep down and troubled but potentially a ticking time bomb

The fight should have been stopped but Fury won , you’re comparing a legit loss when Wilder was out boxed to Fury still outboxing Wallin so no Fury didn’t lose to Wallin .

The fight was allowed to continue based on the politics of boxing rather than comon sense and safety. If Wallin had suffered the same gash then the fight would have been stopped, period!

Fury broke Wallin down despite the cut, he didn't want the fight stopped so i don't see the issue here.

Joey Gamache really dropped the ball on that, if it were me I would have told Otto to target that cut and every time Tyson goes to paw it, punch his glove so it rubs the cut.
This isn’t remotely what happened ,Wallin targeted the eye to much going head hunting and lost focused on what was working before the cut .

What happens doesn’t change history of the first fight . If Wilder loses you will quickly find out how boxing fans view go from night and day . They will say Wilder lost two in a row to his only real, opponent, watch .

With all the greedy money involved with Fury/Wider 2, if both his eyes were that bad and he had a hemetoma the size of a baseball on his head they wouldn't have stopped the fight.
