Top Rank knows there is zero chance that Zurdo will fight Eleider Alvarez for $175k. I heard Zurdo wanted seven figures for every fight, even his boring tune ups and Alvarez would be by far his toughest opponent.
I suspect Top Rank is bid $350k trying to demonstrate to him that he has been massively overpaid. The fact that no one else bid should convince Zurdo that they're right.
I'm sure Top Rank would be happy to pay $1 million for this fight and make it a headliner on ESPN or ESPN+.
