If Ramirez doesn't fight he will get sent to the shadow realm just like Nicholas Walters got sent.

So Crawford moves up and vacates his WBO 140 title an he quickly gets a WBO title shot at WW. Ramirez does the same, yet he has to fight eliminators before getting a shot at the WBO title?

I think there's some WBO "super" status that some champs are granted, and that is what gives them the right to immediate mandatory status is they move up. Crawford, Usyk, Tanaka recently were granted this option. I'm not sure who else.

Looked it up on Wikipedia: "When a WBO champion has reached "preeminent status", the WBO's Executive Committee may designate him as a "Super Champion".[12] However, this is only an honorary title and not the same as the WBA's policy of having separate "Super" and "Regular" champions. A WBO "Super Champion" cannot win or lose that recognition in the ring; it is merely awarded by the WBO."

How is it disrespectful? It's business. Arum isn't going to go to a purse bid, realize he's the only one bidding, and throw out ten million.

Zurdo declined the shot for the WBO title trying to get out of his TR contract. That's what makes this so funny.
