AJ is definitely pulling for fury...as is hearn....
arum might be right...he might not be
what i do know is that AJ cant hide from the winner of this(whether they rematch or not eventually someone will emerge from wilder/fury)....he will be forced by the media to make the fight...he wont be able to hideComment

I know what Arum is saying is political in terms of his boxing business (as he has vested interest), BUT there is a shade of truth to what he's saying.
Joshua's next couple of fights will show exactly how and which opponents will be selected. It will be done very cautiously and they won't take risks, such as unfamiliar opponents on short notice, so as not to repeat the Ruiz scenario.
Note: that's not saying AJ's opponents weren't selected carefully prior to his loss. And Ruiz of course had more disadvantages than AJ in their first fight.Comment

Lol at this. All this says is that all these other dudes(promoters & fighters alike) are jealous that AJ is the cash cow of the division & moves as he pleases just like Canelo. Everybody else raises their hands & waits on him to choose who gets blessed next. Wonder who is elite up there if he isn't.Comment

For all this talk that Joshua wants Fury to win and Tyson isn't going anywhere near him anytime soon; Win, lose or draw. The jokes are definitely on you Jack. Poor Eddie, he thought AJ was going to face the winner; Especially if it was Tyson Fury. Wrong!Comment

We watched the fight live and there were women in the room, who don't follow the sport.
They kept asking, why is the big man running away from the little fat one?
AJ looked bad to people who follow and understand boxing but also to a casual observer
that doesn't appreciate "hit and don't get hit" principle.
I think AJ lost some fans on the night...Comment

It was like watching the Red Viper vs. The mountain but with the red viper being fat and unathletic and the Mountain running for dear life....Comment

You are correct he fought a great tactical fight. And I'm glad he did, this was good for the sport. However he was rocked and if Ruiz was prepared it would have been a different story. Joshua had the most devastating loss since Foreman destroyed Frazier. This was George Foreman though, not the Snickers Guy. Joshua was beat up bad from pillar to post. It was hard for me to watch it while it happened.Comment
