it sounds to me like you guys are sleeping on Plant

    1) he is not Rocky Fielding
    2) Golovkin, and his handlers... do not sleep on fighters, like you guys

nobody is insisting that Plant is the GOAT... but NOBODY should be confusing him with Rocky Fielding

    Plant beats Smith

the only guys who could beat Plant at 168 are Benavidez and Canelo... I would favor both at this point... but the version of Benavidez who fought Gavril the first time, would lose to Plant... Benavidez would need to be on his game

Benavidez was 20... and Gavril is a HUGE mofo. They’d both stop Plant. Feigenbutz would look like a midget next to them let alone he already did against Plant. Even Lennox Lewis was saying he was a Middleweight.

Unless Plant bulldozes Smith like Ryder which isn't his style, I see Plant rushing in to get countered like an Andy Lee lanky hook on Korobov. Matt, who too, likes to rush in...

But if Plant goes in with the WBA and Ring belts too, then good. As long as it's just the one ****ing in between fight for the two of them. Get's David in better ring shape too, he was inactive for over a year.
yeah, as long as it happens sooner than later.

Most of the people on this site sleep on everyone not in the top 10 P4P. New age boxing fans seem to only see "Champ" or "Bum" with no in between.

He doesn't look quite the same. He looked much healthier at 164. I actually think he would fare better above 160. Who knows what the **** he and his team believe now though and whether they think they can beat anyone legit.
he's old. Of course he's going to look more depleted than he did in 2015. He looks slower and more shop worn in the ring too.

            But he's a natural MW.

I just think he would look better moving up. Doesn't have to weigh in at the full 168 but he looks like **** at 160 now.

GGG will be great at 168. I’ve done sauna drains myself a ways back rather immaturely when having worked out. Sometimes your immune is low. Lose to many minerals, didn’t dry one self properly in cold air. For years GGG at 160 had colds
During fight week and always looked gaunt. It’s better this GGG’s doesn’t look like skeletor at weigh ins with the only protruding mass is his back full of muscle like ninja turtle shell.

At 168 GGG will look and perform proper.

                  Smith makes sense.

                  Plant doesnt really want GGG.

I dont think he wins that fight. I've seen Plant slow down and be there to get hit. Which is a big no-no against GGG.

But who knows? GGG looks kind of gun shy. He doesnt throw many punches anymore.

                    Plant wont beat Smith easy.

Thats a tall boxer who fights tall and has a long reach, who keeps everything at the end of that reach.

Thats not an easy fight all, even if Plant's style makes him look speedy.

Plant slows down in the middle rounds as well. So the fight can get turned even if he is up early. Smith has sneaky power and timing on top of that. So Plant really has to be ready cause its not as simple as Plant beats Smith.

nobody suggested anyone would be easy, or that anything in boxing is easy

imo, based on style/skill/form... Plant beats Smith
