Apart from that, it wasn’t competitive. Fury was schooling him.
The first 6 rounds, hardly anything happened?...it was basically Fury's 8 pitty pat shots vs Wilder's 6 OK shots...they were close rounds.

The 2nd half was a bit of a clinic from Fury but he got caught twice

So you say the first 4 rounds were close (they weren't) but you gave them all Wilder? Your bias is so clear.

so you can be bias and post all kinds of biased crap but I cant think wilder won those rounds in a serious boxing conversation? you guys say fury won those rounds and it wasn't close and ur not biased and fury barely landed a shot??? its like the most biased posters go crazy when anyone else has an opinion outside of theirs, I'm just trying to have a boxing conversation, calm down sir.

Your opinion is ridiculous. Look at the average scorecard, you don't see bars so one sided for close rounds. They were so obviously clear.

Iirc I thought 1-6 were close...you could just feel the tension in there...Wilder was trying to figure Fury out...and Fury was very cautious in dealing with Wilder and trying to avoid and figure out the power.

I do tend to favor the aggressive fighter, but that's really just because they are usually landing more/harder since there is a reason why one guy is moving forward and the other is backing up...usually it's because the guy moving forward is better and the guy backing up doesn't want it.

True though that you can win rounds as the defensive fighter...Floyd did it often...SRL did it to Hagler...Lara does it...Rigo...but yeah I just call it like I see it man...and the defensive fighter doesn't get extra credit just because not much action happens, and he is preening around the ring...still gotta just score the punches that land and how effective they are.

I absolutely hate how some will give one guy all the close rounds, either due to stylistic preference or affection for one fighter over the other.

He is probably saying that you could easily give Wilder 2 of the first 4 or so rounds...and then after the two KD rounds...all he needs is to pick up one more along the way to get a draw...Fury was not dominating every round and outlanding Wilder by 20 punches per round.

8 pitty pat shots to 6 solid shots means it is almost always a close round.

A unbeaten boxer famous in American was backed up a lot during his career making opponents miss a lot and landing little, but always won. Albeit he never visited canvas more than once in a fight. And when he did touch down twice ref didn't see it correctly

Fury won that fight. Everybody knows it.
He’s not banned from the venue, they just aren’t issuing him a press credential.

that really tells me nothing, a lot of people are on the comment board of the whole fight saying they retract how they saw the fight, I'm one of those. but its okay if you thought fury clearly won all the rounds then okay we just see it different.
