Deontay Wilder does not respect Tyson Fury's strength, going as far as saying that his counterpart packs pillows in his fists. "He doesn't have the power to hurt me. I have a strong mind and a very strong chin. He can talk all he wants, but in the end, he has to face the facts and reality. I can't wait to present facts and reality with my fists," Wilder told BoxingScene.com in an interview.

I mean...At the end of the day, I think we can all agree that Wilder has gotten BETTER not WORSE since his first fight with Fury. He has become more patient, learned to setup the right hand properly with a probing jab, worked on becoming a bit more evasive...Fury, meanwhile, was battered by an unknown. It's going to be a good fight, but seriously, if Fury is trying to force the action, it'll be an early night in Vegas...

I have Wilder by KO, Round 4/5.

Wilder did not look good at all in his last fight losing every round to the same guy over a year ago he already fought who didn’t do as much as the first fight .

Wallin wasn’t unknown if you followed the heavyweights he was an aggressive southpaw with great mobility setting up counter punching which is the opposite of Wilder .

      Fury by 9th round stoppage.

Sound reasoning. But what most people don't realize is that Fury's mind is totally unpredictable, and that translates into the kind of equally unpredictable actions on a ring that could easily befuddle Wilder.

On the other hand, if that mind enters the ring during a "down" phase - which is not to be entirely discarded, given Fury's past mental issues - a quick knockout win by Wilder, even a first-round knockout, may very well happen.

Here lies the fascination of the whole. Which depends 90% on Fury's mental strength for the night. For now, my money goes on Fury inside the limit, but I could change my mind ten minutes before the first bell...

This narrative is so ridiculous Since the Fury fight hes gotten into a quick sloppy slugfest with Breazele where he actually got tagged for his sloppiness, and then in the Ortiz rematch he threw with signficantly less volume per round than the first fight and yet his connect rate wasnt any higher either. No, a 40+ fight 10+ year pro mid 30s veteran has not randomly improved all of a sudden.

            Exactly

Apart from getting rocked by Ortiz in the first fight, Wilder actually boxed way better in the first fight. He was much more competitive when boxing with Ortiz and actually dropped Ortiz earlier in the first fight.

“He was patient” ...no he was just boxing poorly until he found his shot. All credit to him for doing that but he’s shown no improvements at all.

Let’s not forget how bad Ortiz looked against guys like Hammer. He couldn’t even go through the gears against Kauffman. Ortiz is shot and was never that good anyway. Dined out on a win over C level Jennings, 5 years ago.

One of boxing's most powerful executives says he is open to selling Top Rank, and 3 heavyweight companies have talked to him about buying

LAS VEGAS — One of boxing's most powerful men, the 88-year-old promoter Bob Arum, has told Business Insider that he has had discussions about selling his historic fight firm Top Rank.

Arum founded Top Rank almost 50 years ago in 1973. The company has become synonymous with elite, championship boxing as Arum has organized fights featuring Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard, Oscar de la Hoya, Floyd Mayweather, and Manny Pacquiao.

Should a sale materialize, it would be the most high-profile acquisition in combat sports, if not all sports, since the mixed martial arts (MMA) firm UFC was sold for $4.025 billion deal in 2016.

"Anything is for sale," Arum told Business Insider at his office on the second floor of Top Rank HQ, which is a few miles south of the Las Vegas strip...

This is who has been discussing a deal, according to Arum:

              - The Hollywood talent agency Endeavor

              - The NASDAQ Telecomms firm Liberty Global

              - The market-disrupting OTT subscription sports streaming service DAZN

                Seek and Destroy.

Deontay's right arm was broken during training in the first encounter and the champ still did some serious damage. Now Tyson is going to feel the Tuscaloosa Bazooka!

                BOMBSQUAD!!!

Poor Wilder!... He doesn't know that one should never cut a deal with a Gypsy... (Gypsies have their own "inner laws" and they never abide ("outside") laws...
