Canelo walking down the Boogeyman in GGG, schooling a a tall brother in Jacobs, and KO'ing a light heavyweight in Kovalev really put fear in EVERYONE.

The teams for Alvarez and Saunders are currently in negotiation to make a fight happen. I’m not sure how that’s considered a duck.

Derevyanchenko asked for $7 million because he had another fighter willing to match Canelo’s offer. $7 million was 16% of the purse. As a mandatory challenger he would be entitled to 35% if it went to purse bid. So that’s not a duck.

Smith was entitled to more money than was offered and will probably eventually get it. Hard to call it a duck when GBP is offering a fraction of what the last two Canelo opponents got to Smith.

Plant fought on 2/16 and would not be ready to fight a superstar on 5/2. That’s not even three months.

I don’t know the Murata details enough to know if it was a duck or not.

If Charlo turned down $12 million, I don’t get it. If it was a fraction of that, I do understand it.

Many people thought Canelo lost both fights to GGG, fought to a draw with Jacobs and trailed on the cards against a shot Kovalev before the knockout.

No he isn't. GGG wanted very much to fight him since the day he lost to him and all the Canelo lovers and GGG haters said GGG should get a life and quit chasing the Canelo fight and he did that but the desire to fight Canelo is as strong as ever. Andrade has also being calling out Canelo for years and would fight him in a heartbeat. Saunders has also been calling out Canelo for years and WILL FIGHT CANELO ON MAY 2. He is not avoided at all but champions won't fight him for low pay when they know how much Canelo will make and they know Jacobs and Kovalev both made about 12 million for fighting him. But keep up the boogie man most avoided myth if it makes you feel good about your hero. He is a damn good fighter but not so good that other good champions are afraid to share a ring with him if they get fair pay.

This is awful. EVERYBODY is afraid of Canelo and is avoiding him. This means no Canelo fight in May, September, maybe ever. Then he will have to retire in his prime. That is the price he must pay for being too good for his own good.
