It’s a 50-50 fight but I feel like Ortiz fades late in fights quite drastically and for me he doesn’t have the power to put Ruiz away. I think he starts off boxing well and as he slows down Ruiz comes to life and stops him. Ruiz’s chin is for real and I can’t see anyone other than Wilder stopping him.

If Ortiz wins this fight then a lot of people that doubted his credibility will have to eat crow. Same for those calling Ruiz an obese darts player if he wins lol.

Let’s hope it gets made, I’m not getting too excited just yet.

this fight is garbage for the most part. Old fu.ck vs fat fu.ck......at least the fat fu.ck beat AJ though

Nice job PBC, this is what am talking about. Put Ortiz in actual fights, let’s see what the hype was all about. The fake boogeymen thing went out of the window when he ducked 7m to fight Joshua, let him reclaim that reputation back in the ring. Ruiz is a good gauge of that.

Am one of the people who would eat crow if he destroys Ruiz. Based on his reputation am expecting him to do a job on Ruiz and stop him. He hasn’t really justified that reputation for me, so am expecting him to prove me wrong.

According to reports Ruiz doesn’t want it yet, he is in transition and whyte is trying to get him at a bad time.

Ruiz turned the fight down or maybe PBC blocked it. Same thing.

Pity because on paper that is the better fight.

its a possibility but a southpaw with decent skill is a hard fight for anyone

Ortiz is too adept at stealing rounds for a guy like Ruiz. Smart, experienced, knows when to turn it on.

Even in fights where Ortiz looks sloppy he usually wins a ton of rounds.
