Floyd’s win over Canelo is equivalent to a Canelo win over Munguia

I think that’s the best comparison

    Let's compare shall we...

Mayweather was 36 when he fought Canelo. Old and Past Prime.

If Canelo fought Munguia today, he'd be 29. In his absolute Prime.

Mayweather started his career at 130 and fought as high as 154. Canelo Began his Career at 154. Easy to see who the size and physical strength advantage would go to.

Canelo started his career at 154, campaigned at 160 for four years, and has fought as high as 175. Munguia started at 154, and has had one fight at 160. I think it's safe to say, Mayweather gave up a bigger size and strength advantage to Canelo, than Canelo would to Munguia.

Yeah, I'm not seeing the comparison. But I don't know **** about boxing. Please education me on how this comparison makes sense.

Canelo and Munguia both started at 140.

Floyd's mysterious 2lbs difference recalculation with Mexicans started with Marquez to then Canelo.

And ure exremtly deluded with the other fans if u actually believe that. I am no mayweather tbe guy by any stretch and even I know this is deluded.....u let ure personal feelings create dulusion like this. Even I use to be on the ban wagon of torching mayweather for what he did to Marquez on the scales but in realty Marquez fought well above 142 and knocked pac out meaning that win started to look a little better off a 8 month lay off.....the point is canelo at the time wasn't the greatest win of all time but considering how he lost almost every round was fresher came in at a catch weight but so did cotto for manny which is one of pacs greatest performances. It's a very good win that's nothing like munguia......🤣

Good points. In addition to that, Canelo hadn't struggled against guys like Dennis Hogan. Canelo was coming off a close but clear decision victory over a prime Austin Trout in a title unification. Munguia has talent but has yet to prove himself at the top level. Now that I think about it, I think Canelo was way better in 2013 than Munguia is now.

Serious question, is that a typo? "Alvarez started his career at 154" He started at 140.
