The biggest fight of all time happened on a similar time frame. Mayweather-Pacquiao was finalized in late February and they fought on Cinco de Mayo weekend. Plant fighting Feigenbutz is equivalent to Pacquio having a sparring session in between the time he fought Algieri and when he fought Mayweather. Plant is a B-side. Any fighter in that position isn't ever going to have the ideal conditions when they agree to fight someone on Canelo's level.

I would not take anything Oscar is saying serious as far as all this "This Or That Guy Will Never Get A Shot At Canelo" because Canelo can come right back around and agree to fight that guy and once again Oscar will look absolutely SILLY and have to get on board with it because that is what Canelo wants
