Go away Eddie. Joshua needs a stellar, exciting performance against Pulev to even be relevant.

Damn Hearn give it a rest no matter how loud you scream no one paying attention to you trying attach ajoke to this fight.... shouldn’t you be promoting the Mikey fight in two weeks anyways?

You would think most boxing fans would be on the same page with this, regardless of who they like more or how they feel about Hearn. A unified champion is clearly a good thing for the sport and AJ vs the winner is the most commercially viable fight in the division if not in all of boxing. Plus the likely alternative is Fury and Wilder spending the next year plus fighting guys that arent top 10 level and then in mid/late 2021 facing each other again for no particular reason. In which case the division doesnt progress at all because the belts still wont be unified and the alleged top two wont face anyone but each other so we never really know how good they truly are relative to everyone else.
But sadly some people are so wrapped up in the war between promoters/promotions that it matters more to them that Hearn is sad and AJ gets shut out than belts being unified and the biggest possible fights happening.

When/If Fury beats Wilder this weekend, AJ’s stardom in the UK will hit an all time low for sure. Eddie knows it and that’s why he keeps trying to get some attention around this big fight and attach AJ’s name to it, because he’s verging on becoming well in Fury’s shadow. He was already the joke of a nation last year, now if Fury goes and cements his place as the no.1 by beating Wilder, then AJ is old news.
People are very fickle.
Fury has been on a comeback trail and most people are starting to warm to him.I think the 12th round in the first Fury/Wilder fight really captivated a lot of boxing fans including me and this further strengthened his case to becoming the peoples champion.
With respect to Anthony Joshua I think there was more drama and character in the first Fury/Wilder fight than any of Joshua's previous fights to date.

Joshua seems a nice guy. But he has ZERO personality. While Fury has mounds of it. Joshua gets by on his Olympic gold and nationalism. That’s it. He doesn’t sell fights with his persona. And it’s getting tired.

Those stadium fights will dry up in the next year, the ticket sales for his past few have been getting slower and not selling out.
Fury is the nations sweetheart now. Got his own documentary on prime time TV. His wife is becoming a celebrity too, on all the morning shows. It may seem silly but it counts for a lot when it comes to public perception.

It should be 50-50 split no doubt about it. Just make the fight and besides that L AJ took to Andy Ruiz put a dent in that whole A side argument sh**. Now it's either you make the fight or you don't and you can't use that ' Nobody knows who these guys are' or 'Drawing a crowd' excuse. People are excited to see the rematch between Fury and Wilder. AJ vs Fury/Wilder should have already been made. AJ could have gotten way more money from a Fury/Wilder fight than a Ruiz fight. Especially when there was going to be a rematch to make even more money.
