It could but TBH in my entire life never heard of a boxer injuring their calf. Maybe a kick boxer

Golovkin is not taking the " business opportunities " at 160 anyway

He's old. Old people are more likely to have injuries. Not rocket science.

Been telling you. GGG would’ve beaten Uzcategui and Plant. I’m
More than sure GGG and his brother Max saw that Plant was a scrub at the SNAC gym. I think they told Hearn to send Plant an offer once GGG moves up at 168

Reminds me of when Fury pulled out of the Klitschko rematch claiming injury but then we found out later that he had his license suspended just before.
I think GGG and his brother saw the nice benefits of the SNAC gym. Aside from Plant and Jrock; Andrade, Jacobs, Mikey, Haney have used Conte for power gaining and inevitably gaining more muscle mass. Therefore they’re seeing he can longer campaign at 160. OR, there’s latency shaving off the weight because of the power training.

I bet GGG saw Plant was a scrub and they’re going after the 168 IBF. Now Hearn has the whole 168 deep. Think about it, the longer the time goes, Caneo ain’t go to 160. No need for Alvarez to hurt his body. GGG is wising up and thinking the same.

Therefore, expect GGG to send Ward a new offer of 165lbs catchweight!

I would have to disagree with you that Plant is a scrub. I think Plant is very good and getting better. He is just 27. The old GGG would beat him I am sure but GGG would be 38 when he fights again. He was off for Dervy and I hope he just had a bad night and looks better next time. I think you are underestimating Plant and that he is much better than you think. I think Plant is a hard fight for anyone including Canelo. He showed poor stamina when he won the title but he seems to have improved that weakness. Canelo's stamina is no so great either. Maybe you are right that GGG is draining himself making 160 and would perform better at 168.
