He only has himself to blame. He accepted a 365 million dollar contract for 11 fights, almost all of which have been less than exciting.
Canelo has been playing all the 'weaken your opponent tricks' for years now.

Unless he starts to act with some integrity and testicular fortitude than translates into some real 50-50 fights, he will continue to have opponents expect a massive pay-day in return for leverage.

If he wants to go back to no-nonsense fighting he may recover some respect.
