    The David Haye route huh?

Have like 2 dozen fights against mostly underwhelming competition, cash out on one big payday.

Good for him if he does. I'm on record as being very pro-fighters retiring early. That said I think betting the over on Fury's career lasting past the current TR deal is a great bet.

A great start for a big come back. Didn't he retire before?

I think if he gets knocked out by Deontay Wilder he will retire very soon, maybe immediately.

As for having nothing more to do if he wins... I dunno, maybe defend a championship belt once in his entire career?

I don't doubt he'll retire after the contract is finished. Hekk it took a lot of effort to get his body back in shape after that long layoff and not to mention the nasty cut he suffered last fight. Boxing is a brutal sport I won't blame him if he did. And like fury stated he's been champion and had almost every major belt and he ended the Klitschko reign over the HW division.

Boxing is a brutal sport and he took a lot of damage in last fight. No need to have 10 fights more.

Fight Wilder ( twice?), than Joshua and maybe Chisora and retire.

i know he promised Chisora the 3rd fight but it really is pointless. Fight Wilder then Joshua then take a young gun out and then jet off into the sunset. Thats how i'd like to see him go

If Fury fights Joshua before he retires, you can say he fought all the best guys in his era.

                  Klitschko, Wilder, Joshua

I won't put him on any list of great HWs even if he does and wins in dominant fashion, too short of a career and not enough noteworthy wins

The guy is 31 years old, and this is HW where things skew older anyway, and on top of that Fury has attributes that would probably allow him to remain among the elite for another decade. With this kinda talk, all the WWE BS, his wildly varying physical condition and his post-Wlad "retirement" it comes across at times like he just doesnt have the desire. Its a shame because pure ability wise he could be one of the ATG HWs.
