So you're criticizing a fighter for showing versatility?

Funny thing is, that Wilder -Fury 1 was not even a super fight. Fury was chosen because he looked like **** against seferi and Pianeta. He supposed to be an easy win for Wilder. Cherry pick went wrong way and now we have another fight.

"Eddie Hearn says Anthony Joshua will be ready for a unification fight with the winner of Saturday’s Deontay Wilder-Tyson Fury fight and says neither Wilder nor Fury can call themselves No 1 in the world until they beat Joshua."

Sorry Eddie, that's not how it works! Joshua already got his azz whooped thoroughly by Andy Ruiz. Neither Wilder nor Fury has been defeated, much less KO'd! The winner of Saturday night's event is #1. No doubt! The only question that would remain is "Who is #2?"

I dont even agree with Eddies comments, but AJ got his ass whooped by a late replacement opponent, in America, while allegedly having a concussion, then won almost every round against the same guy a few months later, which seems to either be completely and conveniently ignored, or downplayed because AJ didnt get suckered into a shootout with him again. Its also conveniently left out that the only reason Fury/Wilder 2 is between two "undefeated" fighters is because the first fight was a rigged draw, probably with the marketability of this rematch in mind.

Ruiz is the one who gave him the concussion! Wilder (Ortiz) and Fury (Wilder) were "concussed" too, but they were able to continue. Joshua could not! Saturday's winner is the #1 HW in the world! No doubts!

Again, there were strong allegations of AJ being concussed BEFORE the fight. He looked completely out of it before the fight even started. And the 2nd fight went completely differently.

And like I said, Wilder won maybe 2-3 rounds in the first Fury fight but still got away with his 0, he could easily not be undefeated now if not for corruption. Meanwhile heres a newspaper report from Furys first fight agains John McDermott back in the day

"The verdict of the referee, Terry O'Connor, after Friday's English heavyweight title fight was one of the worst ever witnessed

So Fury could easily have a loss on his record at this point too.

Thats without even getting into their respective level of opposition. Imagine the **** Joshua would get if he fought guys like Schwarz and Breazele at this stage of his career.

They can claim to be no1. But a weaker case than if they beat josh.
Just like Pac can be no1 ww by beating thurman. Crawford and spence dithering too much to fight each other.
Time waits for no-one how long are we suppose to wait for things to be resolved? Fury v wilder are half way to resolving who's best

Those "allegations" were denied by Joshua, so you can miss me with that! He got his azz whooped, in his American debut, and he did NOT return the favor in the rematch, although he did get the victory:

Andy Ruiz balloons to 283 pounds for rematch; Anthony Joshua slims to 237

One day after the trainer for Andy Ruiz Jr. said his fighter would again be 268 pounds for his defense against Anthony Joshua, the unified heavyweight titleholder was nowhere close at Friday's weigh-in -- tipping the scales at a staggering 283.7 pounds.

No heavyweight has ever entered a title defense heavier except for 7-footer Nikolay Valuev, who was at least 310.75 pounds for each of the defenses he made over two title reigns in the 2000s.

Granted he was wearing a shirt and sombrero on the scale, but it was the heaviest that Ruiz (33-1, 22 KOs), 30, of Imperial, California, has weighed in at during his 10-year career since he was in the mid-290s for his first two professional fights.

Andy Ruiz Jr., who weighed in at a fleshy 268 before beating Anthony Joshua to win the unified heavyweight title in June, has ballooned to 283 pounds for Saturday's rematch.

You can rely on conspiracy theories surrounding Joshua's KO loss, but we all know why Ruiz lost the rematch!
