wilder fans have long wanted to see aj/wilder...but we all know who swerved that one...

barry hearn "id advise aj to stay away from that fight for at least a couple of years"-august 2018....fighters, trainers and managers(many even from the UK) all said that it was AJ avoiding it...fury, khan, froch, parkers trainer(and parker was about to be on another matchroom show when it was said)....lennox too....

the truth is AJ played himself....he got knocked by a butterbeans Mexican son....and basically wilder got so fed up with the d1cking around from hearn he moved on....

wilder also wanted an immediate rematch with fury...but arum swooped in and killed it...admitted he was delaying it...and it will probably work in both guys favors as theyre building this one up pretty well with massive espn/fox exposure during the college football playoffs and nfl playoffs/superbowl

the fact of the matter is both wilder and fury have low opinions of AJ right now...not because he lost to ruiz...but because they both know that AJ avoided wilder....

and you can see the desperation in AJ that he wants fury to win because he knows hes the lighter puncher....leading up to this fight he keeps talking about how wilder doesn't really hit that hard and how hes picking fury.....a month or so ago he was offering to help fury spar to get ready for the fight....you can tell him and eddie are desperately pulling for fury because they feel hes the less dangerous threat...its written all over everything AJ says....

and all of that is irrelevant anyway. Either you finally want to see a massive unification fight after Fury/Wilder (which apparently AJ would lose easily anyway) or you want to see those two spend a year fighting none top 10 ranked bums before maybe having a third fight with each other in 2021.

Fury has to fight like he did vs schwarz, with the same intensity. He could change stance on the run, if he needs to. That could cover him from wilder's right.

hearn was such a disgrace during "negotiations" with wilder that DAZN tried to do a deal without hearn...and even john skipper of DAZN admitted they messed that up too

if AJ has to wait a little longer its his own fault because he d1cked around with wilder then got his arse beat by andy friggin ruiz lol

Hearn has said he has heard whispers from his contacts that Fury is having 'problems' in his camp, so I don't know whether that means Fury is finding it hard to adjust to a new trainer and environment with such short notice (the reason I thought that move was bad for him).

Physically he looks in better shape than when they first fought, but that's just on the surface.

very true. It comes down to Fury's mindset. Guess we will also see whether he tries to get Wilder our early or boxes. He will either be seen as a genius or a fool. I'm having a hard time picking the winner.

How does Fury and Wilder fighting each other confirm its AJ ducking? they're totally different challenges stylistically. Especially when it comes to Wilder because he knows Fury doesnt carry much power and will give him a lot of time to try and land something.

You say hes a "so called" champ, but Wilder has held the WBC title for 5 years now fighting a grand total of two top 10 level opponents, and in most peoples eyes retained due to corrupt judging in the first Fury fight. And when it comes to Fury, the guy never once defended his belts, faked a retirement and got out of a rematch he was obligated to give. So i guess they're all "so called champs" because they all have things they can be criticized over.

Why? He won the first fight when he wasn't fit or ready.

He was talking way too much, even for his standards. That tells me a guy is trying to hype himself up and is having internal issues.

If he plans on ko'ing Wilder........
