I lost interest when I realized Plant was going to play with him all night. I don't use names, but Benevidez was quantifying, as a member of the profession. It sounds like he has some first hand knowledge.

Plant could have had him out in 3 but he put on a show for Nashville.

Based on the attendance Haymon and the chants of USA imo Plant is a rising star.

I agree, I don't call fighters bums, but this guy was definitely a punching bag, wasn't throwing much back. Plant does have some boxing skills, but lacks punching power, I think Benavides or Canelo would beat him.

Benavidez has some skills, definitely, but at least in his most recent fights, Plant has shown a greater resolve and definitely better accuracy in his punches. But it would still be the most sought after SMW fight we could see right now. Hope it happens soon.

Zero reason for this fight not to happen after the mandatory Benavidez has to get out of the way. I can see this as a career high payday for both fighters in the November time frame. The pre-fight trash talk will be worth the price alone based on what these two have done so far.

Good post. Especially if it's being used as a level, bum as a D or lower rank. That guy was the definition of a bum. Besides having no skills, he wasn't even one of the stronger face-first Eastern Euro brands. He had basically nothing. No style.

Despite his flashes, Plant isn't that good. I'm far from sold yet.
