All three judges had Benavidez ahead of Dirrell at the time of stoppage?! Wow...I didnt see it that way at all. What I thought I saw was an inactive Benavidez following Dirrell around the ring while catching punches. This went on for at least 6 rounds, until Dirrell got the cut.

That would be good fight . Also Ronald Gavril and Plant would be good.

I picked Plant by decision but it’s a tough fight. Benavidez is so big for the weight class and he’s very durable. Plant is going to have to work really hard. His fitness will be the key. It’s a fight he says he wants but he thinks the people making that fight will want to build it up.

Based on what i saw last night Plant has some proving to do. And he can prove a lot buy winning against Benavidez, but i dont think that is gonna happen.

Score cards are one thing but yeah I saw the same thing you did, a long in the tooth Dirrell moving how he wanted to and Benavidez not doing much to stop Dirrell's movement. I'll just copy and paste what I said in a previous thread:

I'm leaning towards Plant. He takes the majority of the first rounds against Benavidez with movement and activity and then will only have to find a handful of rounds in the second half of the fight to win. I know guys are skeptical of Plant's stamina especially in the latter rounds but Plant's shown he has the heart and courage to ride out those late rounds. Benavidez will have to show 2 things: an ability to cut the ring off on Plant and when he does, he needs to accurately and consistently put his hands on Plant.
