I would love to see that fight. I think it's a bad style match up for Canelo. Plant has fast feet and hands. In addition, he is the naturally wider man too with both the size, height and reach advantage over Alvarez.

A fight with Plant should not be hard to make. I think that an offer of at least $3 Million would do and is fair. If his team ask for anything higher than that then they really don't want the fight.

Plant is as fast as Jacobs on the “feet” and it could be debated if they have the same power. You generalize too much. Kovalev, Jacobs, Fielding, Chavez Jr. all have “reach.” Height don’t mean anything. At least you’re being honest that you “think” its a bad style match up. However, I’ll tell you that I KNOW Caleb is easy work for Canelo.

Canelo is a different breed of counter attacking when its all said and done. Flashy combinations mean nothing on a high guard mean nothing. Did Feigenbutz have any intuitive grit to counter during a high guard? That’s Canelo’s specialty.

I agree! I would advise against it if I was Al. Plant has not faced anyone even close to this level. Plant isn’t even ranked P4P top 50. In fact he’s currently ranked 88.

I think he’s a few fights away from being ready. Maybe beating Benavidez and then Jacobs would be a great start!

But then again the money would be to hard to pass up.

P4P Jacobs is ranked way way higher then Plant. I would take Jacobs over plant and also think Benavidez would TKO him. But that’s why they fight.
