Garcia will be protected for at least another 12 months.

Right now he has proved nothing.

Yep. I haven’t seen tons of him to make a detailed case study, but in that short fight I saw a lot to like. I always look at a fighters feet first off, and Garcia’s looked very natural and fluid. U could see his speed is on a level that u rarely see. He saw his opponent throw first and he didn’t move back or flinch an inch, but threw his own hook that landed first and dropped his opponent hard. That’s hard to teach. I’m more impressed with what I saw from King Ry than anything I saw from Caleb Plant.

Hes got my hype job sensor going off. I doubt he will fight a live opponent for a long time though so probably be unbeaten for a good few years.

Thanks bro. I mean we haven’t seen him hit hard or cut or dragged into deep water, but damn does he look like a natural. Commentators going off about Caleb Plant like he’s ready for Canelo after 20 fights, but he can’t counter like that. I mean I can’t say I was stoked that there was a ten minute interview with the Paul brothers, and Shawn Merriman in his locker room. Famous people for sure but not people that have anything to show him how to be a great boxer before a celebrity. Oscar had the looks and he could fight. Elvis had the looks and he could sing. Taking punches is a tough living but, I hope his heart lies in being a great boxer.

... Garcia is very green and the lightweight division seems more stacked than ever...

... but, as of lately, I didn't watch a more devastating left hook other than Garcia's...

I have a feeling the comparisons to Oscar are just beginning. After Manny and Canelo are gone, boxing is going to need some more faces.
According to BHop, it's the guy who just KO'd Fonseca.
