Comments Thread For: Deontay Wilder: I Will Reopen That Cut On Tyson Fury's Eye

Having dropped or stopped every opponent he's faced to date, there's no question that Deontay Wilder won't hesitate to take any opening that provides itself on fight night. This time around, the unbeaten, long-reigning heavyweight titlist has a clear target for which to aim in his upcoming rematch with England's Tyson Fury (29-0-1, 20KOs).

This will be the worst week ever for Hearn employees on this site. The real heavyweight championship of the world is being contested between 2 unbeaten champs. While defeated Joshua and disgraced PED cheat Whyte can only watch the sporting world turn without them

"Storied career"? Where he beat old Ortiz twice and no one else of world class? Imagine, a guy fights through a knockdown to come back dramatically, fights through a cut to win dramatically, and a certain person and he's fans would rather the fights were called off by an official for a controversial loss. Doesn't sound too confident.

Not very macho of wilder to say he wants to win via tecnicality hoping ref stops fights as cuts too bad? What happened im going to spark you out with your feet twitching on the floor?
But of course this fight means more to you than Fury. You want to redeem yourself as everyone thought you lost. Tyson knows everyone thought he won so hasnt anything to prove. Even if tyson loses rematch, he will always have the first fight in bag in most eyes.

“And you know, I feel like the fight should’ve been stopped with a cut so deep and a cut so wide that you can’t even see. I understand he had a major fight coming up with me, and he was saved because of the fight that’s happening right now.”

Wilder got it right here. The fight should have been stopped. Doesn't this go to show corruption?

I'm going to have to agree with you on this one. Wilder don't posses the skill to target a basketball yet alone an eye. He needs to go in there and do what he do best, land the power shot any which way he can!
