I mean you are in 'my' thread, and I usually respond to most posts in a thread I make...and then you mentioned me specifically in your comment too lol.
But I hear ya man...I'm on this forum because I like boxing and I like to talk boxing...I just try to call it like I see it with things and go from there...I learned a few years ago to not take anything seriously online, just not worth it.
I'm sure I let some of my biases get through and am wrong from time to time...but I can honestly say I just try to evaluate everything objectively and call it like I see it.Comment

huh???????????Not trying to be rude, but all you have to do is google the weigh in. No disrespect, but I don't really care if you believe it or not. One guy was saying it was ODLH that made a catchweight, and I told him he did not. He decided to make a poll instead of just looking it up. As far as im conserved I KNOW it was B-hop and am willing to put up money to anyone that wants to prove me wrong, but not going to do work for him or you. If you think im wrong that's fine, if you want to prove it then go ahead, but it was a surprise to everyone (he came so light)and its pretty well known to most who were around at time.Comment

Why in the hell would a big middleweight champion ask to fight a smaller man at a catchweight of 158 pounds which helps Oscar not Hopkins?????? Oscar was the A side and he wanted to pull a Cotto and win the world's middleweight title at a weight below the standard traditional 160 pound limit. It was absolutely 100% Oscar's idea and they kept the catchweight a secret for a while because Oscar knew it was BS and boxing fans would not like it. These big stars get away with BS like this. Sugar Ray Leonard won both the 168 pound tittle and the 175 pound title in the same fight even though the weigh limit was 168.Comment

Something tells me your being honest. These guys are trying to make it seem like ODLH was some huge diva which he was not. He happened to be in the ultimate position to treat his oponents like nobody’s but I think he was always fare and took many risksNot trying to be rude, but all you have to do is google the weigh in. Oscar would have gotten a $h!t-ty credit had he won that fight because Bhop was drained to max but it doesn’t matter now, right? The important thing was that the bigger man, whilst drained, won so it was a legit boxing fight that didn’t defy boxing weight classes logicComment

Has the catchweight been confirmed by the fighters? HBO didn't know about it. They said the fight was at the 160lb limit on the broadcast and didn't know why Hopkins weighed so low.
