Just use some common sense , Bhop had fought at MW for like 14 years going into the ODLH fight. He was the B side you really think he had any power to call any shots ?, and come up with a catchweight that would only benefit Oscar.Comment

Not trying to be rude, but all you have to do is google the weigh in. No disrespect, but I don't really care if you believe it or not. One guy was saying it was ODLH that made a catchweight, and I told him he did not. He decided to make a poll instead of just looking it up. As far as im conserved I KNOW it was B-hop and am willing to put up money to anyone that wants to prove me wrong, but not going to do work for him or you. If you think im wrong that's fine, if you want to prove it then go ahead, but it was a surprise to everyone (he came so light)and its pretty well known to most who were around at time.Comment

On September 18, “The Golden Boy” Oscar De La Hoya (37-3, 29 KOs) and Bernard “The Executioner” Hopkins (45-2-1, 31 KOs) were set to meet at an agreed upon catch weight of 157 pounds. Not trying to be rude, but all you have to do is google the weigh in. I mean they definitely agreed on a catchweight beforehand...and it seems pretty clear that it would be De la Hoya who would institute that catchweightComment
