California commission clears Charlo

"Mr. Charlo's cut man asked the commission-assigned athletic inspector if he could transfer water from new water bottles to the squeezable Gatorade water bottle, for the purpose of being able to squeeze water from the bottle," the statement to ESPN said. "The athletic inspector allowed this and observed the cut man take two new water bottles, open and pour them into the squeezable Gatorade water bottle. Furthermore, Mr. Charlo and Mr. Harrison passed every drug test administered by the Voluntary Anti-Doping Agency (VADA), out of competition and in competition. Mr. Charlo and Mr. Harrison were both clean fighters for this bout."

It still doesn’t dismiss the fact that Derrick James had his own clear water bottle and it was said the Gatorade bottle wasn’t used until round 4 where Charlo was tiring from all throwing all those heavy shots early!

That goes to show you that boxing needs to have a central body that can regulate the same rules!

How is it allowed to not have unclear bottles in championship fights but then it’s aloowed in championship fights?

They made the rule because fighters corners have been caught putting powders into the water or sugar to help give the fighter a boost in the ring!

People like you look at things at face value and will fall for it cuz your gullible and respect authority too much!

People like me with common sense knows it’s still doesn’t add up or makes sense, why have a clear bottle of water and then a Gatorade bottle?

If Charlo came out an said that his uncle asked the commission for it and said because he prefers to give Charlo water through a squeeze bottle then that’s fine but none of it makes sense!

I think Shane Mosley also has a ruling in court about not allowing a fighters corner bring in an unclear bottle!

Most fights I’ve seen in California both fighters in championship fights had clear bottles!
