Arum dont screw around.....I dont like arum because of his political beliefs (going against MAGA) but he does not mind matching his team tough...I would have preferred Lopez vs stank because The Boxing Community must demand justice on stank davis.....stanky beating up on a Beautiful Girl is just unexcused....Stank should be just as brave against Lopez or Loma...the same cajones he (stank) showed against a woman he should show against Lopez or Loma.

Lopez is green bro. He’s a kid. Largely inexperienced. Nothing special in beating him right now.

If Lopez had put in work and beat several top 10 LW’s I would understand. His sample size vs top 10 is 1 fight.

If he wins, I think that would be great. He’s Latino and is from NY like me. So I wouldn’t lose sleep over him beating Lomachenko. I’d be happy.

But he’s not beating Loma. Loma is licking his chops for this guy. It’s going to be a man vs a kid, figuratively speaking. Lomachenko won’t win by stoppage, but he will box circles around this guy and win on the cards. It’s going to be like nothing he’s ever faced before. Like Mayweather vs Canelo, except even Canelo had a bit more experience than Lopez at that point.

People already forgot how mediocre he looked vs Nakatani and how he reacted to fans after that fight, with cryptic messages about quitting. So he’s not even mentally strong yet. How will he react when Lomachenko is boxing circles around him? He will probably break down and quit, that’s how Loma can win by stoppage if he can do it. I'd have to disagree. Lopez shots the right from a Philly stance or his version of it. That's not a high volume punch, it's more trying to get you to step into the counter, which Commey did. Interesting fight. Lopez always has the right sitting under his chin ready to shoot and he is good power behind it. Arum and TR matchmakers don't put their prospects in non-winnable fights. Keep that in mind. NYC fight, Lopez probably carries legit 140 power, Loma good but not a big moneymaker for TR. Is TR trying to create a young PR star like a Hector Camacho given Lopez's mouth.
