Go watch the fight again. It's on YouTube. Floyd came out clowning the kid. However, the kid didn't come to clown. He came to fight. He tried to show the champ up and that pissed Floyd off.

But he just kept tapping away besides one nice uppercut . That may have looked like he was out boxing floyd but in reality he fell into a trap . A trap any inexperienced fighter falls into when fighting a vet ,let alone fighting an atg for their first fight . I give conor all the credit in the world he stepped up and landed two real nice punches but he walked right into an ambush . I dont see how doing exactly what your opponent wants is outboxing him . He won rounds , for the reason stated above . Did I expect the fight to go like that ?? Not really but when it happened it was obvious to me what was going down I've seen it a hundred times in the gym .

He had height/reach on Floyd and was using it properly. Had he had more experience in the ring and had a little more pop on his punches, he would have been more of a risk, but that is why Floyd only takes no risk fights.
