I respected the risk that he took and never expected him to win, but based on how he was talking, I expected him to go down like vargas did vs Trinidad. Instead he pulled an Adrien Broner where he was just happy to survive and go12. Don't wanna see him at 147 again.

No Mikey! Hire a nutritionist and go back to 135 where you are at ya best.

Which top 10 can he beat? I'm not even sure he could beat Lipinets again at 147, so...

Would love to see that happen for Mikey but in this ERA it is going to be tough for him, these are some BIG Welterweights. Yeah Pacquiao is the smallest in this ERA but Pacquiao is Pacquiao. Pacman is still very fast and can PUNCH! I think Pacquiao would stop Mikey Garcia at 147 respectfully!

Maybe he can get a shot at Alexander Bes***** for that other WBA Title?

Yes, I suspect this is really the "legacy" he's looking for although tbh I've never been convinced by Garcia since Salido made him look for way out

You've no chance Mikey. Pacquiao will be fighting mcgregor so that fight is gone.
Back to lightweight, your natural home.

This article is so misleading. No one with any sense is curious to see Mikey continue at 147. He's not a welterweight, period.

I'm honestly tired of hearing about him at this point, if his goal is truly to remain at 147 then he is irrelevant.. Even prospects like Ortiz Jr or Boots Ennis would beat the shyt out of Mikey at Weltweweight.

To me he's pretty much become this semi lazy guy who doesn't want to put the hard work and discipline in that it takes to get down to his natural fighting weight. He'd rather stick to his tacos, pitas and half azz training when he's already been shown that ain't gonna cut it at 147

I agree....Salido made him look for the way out.....Then he ran away to Protecting Boxing Cowards.....HBO would match them tough....maybe let the slide once in a while but they were usually good match ups....They let Mickey slide that day vs Salido and Mickey ran away....chickenson also ran away as soon as he knew Kovalev was around the corner.
