Honestly speaking , I’m thinking he should retire before being severely hurt
Imo , he is a shot fighter , decreasing as the days go by

You guys think this will actually extend his career or don’t see much coming out of this
Can this be Buddy’s way to get a few more fights out of Kovi ?
He's not shot he was just paid very well to not KO Canelo

I think he should he should retire....his advantage at light heavy was his size at cruiser he wont have that.

Lets just remember that going from Light Heavy to cruiser weight is the biggest weight jump in boxing....25lbs.

He's too big for LHW but too small for cruiser. Will probably face some bum and sail off into the sunset.

He has a weak chin now so fighting much bigger harder punching men is a bad idea. Retiring would be a good idea. He will probably be KOed by the first good cruiserweight he fights if he really does fight at 200 pounds.

He’d make more money by having two or three fights against Canelo
Kovi is done , why do you think he’s moving up to cruiserweight , just trying to extend his career

Canelo's camp would not have fought him just to take a loss, duh

Kovalev should’ve been a Cruiser 5 years ago. In order to campaign at 175 he said to sacrifice lifting or other diets. He was just able enough thud a lot of guys because he’s naturally a Cruiser. If anybody has ever seen Kova the heaviest he walks around 210lbs easily. He will now be more comfortable at Cruiser. Adding more mass means he can take shots better.

Take Bellew for example. Nobody ever jokes that he too couldn’t take punches, but for Kovalev people did. Bellew wasn’t that slow at Cruiser. At Heavy yes, but expect the Krusher to be as fast as Bellew was against Usyk.

It should actually be an turn of events. At least Kovalev stepping up unlike Kazakh Thunder...
