He also acts with class and dignity. He discusses business professionally and behind closed doors unlike some of the other promoters who try and negotiate though the media or make offers via IFL tv...
he has paul Williams set up pretty good and paul says al still calls regularly......I doubt paul would ever struggle to get a seat at any of als events...and hes been seen recently

imagine the comments if he did come into the limelite, id stay away as well if I were him. not sure why people care to see him anyways when all they will do is belittle him and look for fault to post

Straight criminal stuff, but Pacquiao was naive.

He's polarizing as hell. Not sure why, I never even heard him speak. People still either hate him or want to suck him off as you can clearly see.....

He's mysterious and hides cause his sexual exploits are down right disgusting. He's mysterious and hides cause he's more than likely violating the Ali act. He's mysterious and hides cause his stable of fighters arent making the biggest fights possible. He's mysterious and hides cause he'll more than likely get called out by people for NOT making the biggest fights possible with other promoters...

              the list goes on

Haymon is like a filthy rat who has to hide from public and media. Obviously he has a lot to hide and is not proud of his dirty dealings. He does not even show up to watch his own live events - because he knows the outcomes before it happens and it's not worth his time to watched fake fixed fraud fights.

Maybe the best way to judge Haymon's influence on boxing is to take a look at the character of the jerks he made prominent - Floyd, Broner, Davis, Stevenson, Wilder. All no class jackasses, all shames to professional sports in how they carry themselves and role model for youth.

Al gets a lot of criticism but one thing nobody can dispute is that: He generally acts within the best interests of his fighters.

That's what a dummy thinks. He acts in the best interests of HIMSELF. That's why he rejected $120m to Wilder to fight Joshua, why he turned down a career high offer from Hearn/Whyte for Wilder. Don't forget Broner and Jayz. We could go on and on.

Who is he? Where did he come from? How did he make all his ca$h in the first place?

Why does he stay out of the public eye and not do interviews like Arum, Hearn, etc.?
Haymon isn't mysterious. He is like many owners and CEO's, he keeps a low profile and handles his business. Haymon makes some non black posters nervous because he is smarter, more economically successful and more accomplished then they or the people in boxing they most closely associate with.

He came from Harvard and then the music industry. He made his money in a number of business ventures.

He stays out of the public eye because the best bosses empower their staff to make decisions and do their jobs.
