I'm not sure what to think of Zurdo, especially at LHW. He struggled with Hart at 168; you could say he was weight drained but Hart may well have been also. Can't really make much of the Karpency win. I think Zurdo is good but I'm not sure he can beat the top guys at 175.

I think Eleider can hurt him but could also be potentially outhustled. Interesting match.

As for his estranged relationship with Ol' Bob...I try not to bash or support one promoter over another...but i will say this: If I was a boxer, I think Bob would be my last choice among the major banners.

Why is it so hard for a fighter to end a contract with a promoter?

They should be able to know how many fights or years they have left. If this goes to purse bid then he should be allowed to buy himself out for whatever the amount is. Why are people so sure he will go to the PBC? Were there rumors about this? Golden Boy really needs someone to add since Canelo doesn't seem to be too happy there.

All I care about is that Ramirez is in fighting shape. His head is on boxing not these politics. Bottom line Zurdo, go to work!

I like Zurdo but can’t see him winning this
My thinking is Eleider has learnt much from his loss to Kovi
Alvarez will outbox Zurdo imo , only because of what fire will be coming to him
I don’t think he can keep that pressure when getting hit back hard
Maybe no ko but Zurdo will go down at some point and this will make him think twice about keeping that pressure on

You don’t know how Bob Arum works???? When you got like 1-2 fights left he makes you sign an extension or let’s you sit so you can’t finish the contract. I remember when Chavez jr. got his $7 million paycheck cut to like $2 million without an extension to fight ggg

That’s just bonus ( ring rust/inactivity ) to pick Alvarez imo
I think Eleider is the better boxer and has a much better chin
Losing that second fight to Kovi , has made Alvarez a much better fighter
                  Lesson learnt

Tru! And let’s not forget he’s built like a Cruiserweight! I can say with very lil doubt Zurdo loses and it’s not even close.

Storm will knock him out, Zurdo won’t have the same insane size advantage he enjoyed at 168 and his power is nothing compared to Kovalev at 175 IMO!

At the same time I doubt the fight happens!

Zurdo might be fighting in the courtroom
