  • Comments Thread For: Tim Tszyu: Jeff Horn is Not World Class - A Stepping Stone For Me!

Rising Australian superstar Tim Tszyu has verbally blasted former WBO welterweight champion Jeff Horn's boxing skills ahead of their high-stakes showdown. Some have suggested it is too soon in Tszyu's career for him to fight the vastly more-experienced Horn. The younger Tszyu disagrees with everyone who takes that position.

Tszyu is growing on me, i like the way he is going smash up Jeff Horn who is a glorified club fighter who got lucky real life rocky with no skills

Jeff Horny is bull strong and the referee is always on his side.

I'm intrigued by this fight even though I probably won't have a chance to watch it.

Horn isn't quite as bad as some make him out to be. He's a basic and somewhat dirty fighter but he's physically strong and very tough. He comes off arrogant and he's definitely recieved some benefits from judges and refs in fights.

I was a huge fan of Kostya and Tim has some great bloodline. He hasn't fought anyone close to Horn thus far and this will be a true litmus test for where he is at in his career and skillset.

Wait a minute. He can't be serious. He can't.

He didn't watch the Zerafa fight because it was local, yet he watched the Manny fight which was also local...?

Says Horn isn't world class, last I checked Horn was A WORLD champion - something young Tszyu has never been - and Horn has faced 5 current and/or former world champions, beating 4 of them.

No, he's world class. You have a chance to be, but you better stop overlooking this guy, lest you end up like Manny.

Sounds pretty arrogant....I think he's in for a reality check when he gets in there with Horn.

No problem with some trash talking to sell himself to the fans and sell the fight. But he will have to win for sure, and not just sc**** by.

Yep, I am an Aussie from Melbourne.
Followed Kostya Tszyu from before he even had a title.

The boxing scene IMO is just about dead in Australia,
after putting on too many hyped up Anthony Mundine fiascos.

There will be local support for the fight, and I'll try to watch it.

Horn should have stuck at 147, that's my opinion.

Tim Tszyu has some really good skills, very subtle / silky. And looks like Kostya in and out of the ring.
But no fight changing power like his dad had. So he fights differently.
But he's a pleasure to watch if you like boxing. He gets hit much less than his dad did.
