I still feel Fury has character though.Hence look at the way he fought in the first Wilder match.Incredible that people on this thread are taking these words as evidence of AJ avoiding Fury.

Well done to those who actually used the thing between their ears to consider whether that might be true or not.

It's clearly not true. Heavyweight Champions don't fight drunks in pubs.

As I say on every Fury thread. You're not supposed to believe what he says. I don't even think he believes what he says.

 Even Wilder said loosely:

Only God knows how he got up.Comment

 Lol

How can AJ have ducked Tyson? You was out your head on crack when AJ won the titles. Then you came back 26 stone and had a major weight loss program in which you fought cab drivers then wilder team offered you a fight because the thought you was a fat mess and easy target. Where in does story does AJ duck FuryComment

Barry Hearn pre. Joshua getting annihilated ' If Joshua doesn't fight Wilder for the next ten years but keeps on winning i'll take that'
A fit Ruiz is a decent fighter but as 'average Joe' proved very beatable. No one will forget Joshua bouncing around the canvass and then asking McCracken 'Whats he going to do next' Wilder will bounce them all around the canvass and I think this unfortunately includes Tyson this time around.Comment

I always feel a little let down in a sick kinda way when these headlines about people exploding turn out to be metaphorical.Heavyweight contender Tyson Fury has exploded after being advised that promoter Eddie Hearn was doubting Fury's ability to make good on a promise to score a knockout in the upcoming rematch with WBC world champion Deontay Wilder. Fury will challenge Deontay Wilder for a second time on February 22 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

I don't see where, in the last two years, that AJ could have fought Tyson Fury.

AJ v Wilder; yes. That could have happened but we all know (and have an opinion) it didn't.Comment

Lol... the only time I've seen Fury angry was when Wladimir called him a clown during a press conference and he got out of his chair and yelled CALL ME A CLOWN AGAIN! And was legitimately about to start wailing on Wlad if they didn't hold him back.Comment
