It depends. If you bet on fixed odds...Then your original 9/1 will stand. If not...your odds will fluctuate according to the influx of money.

I would not put this past Dave Allen, his career is already in the gutter. I remember Hearn telling him that it would be dumb of him to take the DDD fight which he was going to get hurt for little money, so I wouldn't be shocked if promoter and boxers fixed this beforehand. Allen would probably make a fortune outside of this, than he would have made inside of the ring for the DDD fight.

Why should it drop? If your bookie has a good cashout option you could even cashout with profit and no risks if a line was mispriced and you got it at a very high price before people are hammering down that line.

Be a pretty silly match to fix, how much money would be getting bet on a Dave Allen 6 rounder against a journeyman he is expected to breeze through?

Bets big enough to make it worthwhile would stick out like dogs balls in statistically analysis, that being said the people who do this and get caught aren't exactly rocket surgeons, so who knows, if they are dumb enough to try this they probably arranged it over DMs or txt messages.
