      Definitely something strange about it

If you watch just before the first knockdown, you see Darch nod at Allen just before the punches, as if to say “go on then”

Also, Eddie shouted to Allen to end the fight at the end of the second round. You can clearly see Allen shot over to Eddie “knockout?” Before he sits on his stool.

The commentators said Allen and Darch were having breakfast together on the morning but I don’t read much into that, Allen is the kinda guy that would do that anyway

Still when you look at it all, plus the bets, something is up.

I wonder how much Darch knew though, I felt Allen could probably stop him at will and waited until the 3rd to do it, that’s why he was messing around for 2 rounds. Maybe Darch didn’t even need to be in on it, although I would say he probably was due to how he fell etc.

Remember when Haye said he told everyone to bet on him stopping Audley in round 3. Didn’t throw a shot for 2 rounds and then finished him at will.

Seems fishy. I've only been betting boxing for a year or so, but I've never seen single round odds at 3/2 (+150). I can imagine it must be the case for Rd 1 KOs for a situation like Tyson in 1985-86 when he was being fed cab drivers every couple weeks. But specifically Rd 3 seems very fishy. I would be interested in seeing prop action across UK books and $ matched on BetFair.

Honestly, though, this seems like some idiots conspiring to make a few hundred. I can't see any way Eddie Hearn would get involved in a small-time fix. He has way too much to lose.

In horse racing the ending odds are the ones you get no matter what they were when you get. In boxing & all other popular sports I'm aware of the odds when you bet are the ones you keep no matter if they change.

I'm guessing it's more than a few hundred for this to be an issue. I'd guess there were 4 & 5 digit bets at 9 to 2. So that's in the 5k to 55k score range at the low end of those figures.

And I'd doubt Eddie had any knowledge of this. I'll be extremely interested to hear his take on this doe.

Yeah no way would Eddie Hearn be involved something this minor, guy has a something like a billion dollar dazn contract, probably tens to hundred million dollar sky deal, plus the rest, risking it all on a $50K fixed fight would be laughable.

No doubt he told Allen to stop fkin around and end it though, but thats because he watched the first two rounds.

Dave Allens history of betting issues is, well, concerning.

Any UK-based punters know what a typical max bet on a round prop in a minor undercard fight is?
Betfair/exchanges and matching are the thing I'm most interested in. How much was matched at what odds? And how much was matched at what odds on other rounds. The numbers will tell the story.

When Eddie is asked about this: "Look, I know David Allen. David Allen's grandfather and my father were in the same nursery school since he was 4 months old. They're like family. David Allen is as honest as the day is long. The David Allen I know would never..."
