No, it won’t. Until all the guys in contention fight each other then there isn’t a no.1.

We know Wilder has life changing power but he too takes advantage of that reach. So without size are Fury, Wilder, Joshua special as normal sized fighters?
Exactly as you say, none of them are special it's just their size and weight although maybe Wilder is the exception there. it's almost as though there should be a super heavyweight category. Fury towers above everyone in the division and can pot shot his way to victory every fight.

Wilder cant fight on the inside and is far less likely to stop him up close then if given room to load up. I still dont think fury is the same fighter without peter.

Fury ain't gonna come forward. He's gonna fiddle and f@rt about on the back foot. The only difference is he might put it on wilder in the last 3 rounds.
Wilder will put him down but he might survive

Fury needs to be more aggressive than in the first fight and look for the finish, because over 12 rounds the odds of Wilder landing big regardless of how defensive Fury is are pretty high. That said, i'm not sure about a straight up shootout, it needs to be a balanced approach. I definitely think Fury should try to get inside, bear his weight down on Wilder and brutalize the body when possible. Standing and trading at mid or long range is a bad idea though.

Just heard Otto Wallin in an interview say that he thinks Fury can fight on the inside and if he does the weight will bother Wilder. Said that he can KO Wilder as well. So there goes the pillow fist theory...
