True but maybe she thought keeping an eye on him by having him around would be the best thing for him.

But this guy needs to have his ass kicked seriously.

Maybe she did, but now she knows because it cost her. She now knows he's selfish and is willing to feed his impulses rather than keep it civil and not ruin the money.

Initially, I thought this would ruin her career, but she seems to have gotten through it...I hope this was lesson.

Mr. Mack is very lucky he wasn't in my Judicial District Court as well extremely lucky he didn't have me presiding over his case. I would have offered only full maximum sentence, no parole options with additional 5 year mandatory parole period after incarcerated time complete. I don't play with thugs like this!

I'm sorry bashir got hurt. If it was my grandfather i would be mad. But being old in this world doesn't give u a pass to make REPEATED verbal threats on a woman. If ur old, u should know WAY better than that, and most elderly folks don't behave that way. bashir was obviously not your typical old man, but he kinda got what his hand called for. Cause and effect. If you put yourself in certain situations, you have to at least be aware that certain thing could happen, and if you accept those potential consequences, then do what u do with no regrets. It pissed me off at first but then I realized it was more valuable to embarrass them by simply opening my mailbox and then telling them to have a nice day while laughing. Had one ahole close the front door in my face only to meet me in the lobby demanding to know what I was doing in the building. I don't know why you think Claressa should be forced to pay for any of this, though. She wasn't the one who punched Bashir.

Because the damages in a civil suit will be significant and, being a scum that he is, I doubt he would have enough money to pay off the award. Meaning that, as a good sister, and being indirectly responsible (she brought him in), she will probably want to participate in settling his debts. Unless its cheaper to let him declare bankruptcy. That is if Bashir sues him.
