Does anyone actually care that GRJ only fights once a year?

I mean he's obviously a really good fighter so you would like to see him more than one time a year, but if this is what he prefers than so be it.

So talented but marketed poorly plus a style that is difficult to look good against.
I get excited about his fights but always tune out by the 6th round.
Knocking out Jhonny Gonzalez isn't going to cut.
I think all of us on this site could knock Gonzalez out.

I think it’s annoying but he’s a very good fighter and entitled to do what he wants.

I just personally wish he would take on all comers and fight multiple times a year. It doesn’t really matter what I want though.

For his talent? Yes it bothers me. I love to see talented boxers box. He is one of those who I can put in that category, the fact that he fights once a year isn’t helping, still not sure why he isn’t active.

You can’t binge all your shows and then try to be okay with a once a year fighter. It makes his inactivity stick out even more than it normally would.

I had high hopes for the young brother early on but once I saw he was fighting NO NAMERS only and once every blue moon I lost interest in him.

This asian dude he fought last night, I never heard of him before? I was actually shocked others knew who he was?

Good fighter though. Despite still having a good career and world champ, he may have really underachieved

He looked like a clown last night when he said hes held the title longer than anyone. Ummmm Yeah...holding it hostage. Once a year fighting is not defending and fighting its perpetrating. And taking upcomers and easy fights.

He was tricked when he fought Loma...lol who this guy he thought...Until he felt that smoke. Loma put on home ring arrest. he only comes out once a year now....
