A scar is always weaker than skin but boxer's cuts are not that likely to reopen, as history shows. Of course a big punch will open that eye, exactly as it would open the other one...

Wilder would be a fool to target the eye. He has about as much boxing skill as I have crochet skills. Unless he magically develops a worthy jab he should stick to what he knows.

Fury will outbox him again until he gets tired.

I admired Fury after that fight but then he ran from the rematch and fought 2 nobodies. He was done after the first Wilder fight. Fury never thought Wilder could hit him let alone knock him down.

Getting up from the knockdown was just luck and conditioning and a lenient ref. It's not a skill Fury will be able to use at will. Next time it happens he will most likely stay unconscious

Do you think before you post? Getting up from a knockdown is lucky? Have you ever been in the ring or in a fight?

Of course he would fight through it, but if it gets deep a ref will stop it. Or if it blinds him, Wilder will land that right. When he couldn’t see, Wallin was hitting him.
