People seem to forget, boxing is a business FIRST and I sport SECOND (sort of).
Of course it's a business, which is why this is a terrible decision and an awful fight. A wise business decision would have him in with a solid opponent, keeps him sharp and raises his credibility. Instead, it just further reinforces the meme that is Yarde's career handling to date.

Honest question, are you tunde ajayi?

Wut the f#ck. I dig Yarde, but wuts the point of fighting a guy that shouldn't even be his sparring partner at this stage? Is he THAT shook from his first L?

        No
        Kovi is a done fighter
        Yarde won’t be long behind
I agree. Watching a few of Yarde's fights he looked pretty decent but this fight is comical. There are plenty of light heavyweight's with decent records who would be easy pickings. I blame the boxing commission in Spain. This opponent should have been rejected.
