Other then a confidence boost the Yarde camp is bragging about how the guy was only stopped 5 times in his career. What a joke!
My point is , how good can Yarde be to dig so fughin low
But he gave Kovi a good fight
    No
    Kovi is a done fighter
    Yarde won’t be long behind

It’s so he can potentially fight for a vacant WBO title. Per their rules you can’t fight for a vacant title when coming off a loss, Liam Smith had to do something similar. Although they completely contradicted that rule with Cotto-Kamegai.

I saw this on a boxing YT channel and I was thining what on earth?? Why would a boxer agree to this, it's terrible for credibility and just ridiculous. Even a guy with a barely winning record would be difficult to accept, but this? Classic fish eyes match making

Lol!!!! Why does this comment keep getting ignored?? It's 100% accurate.

This is literally a formality, so Frank can get him straight back in the alphabet mix. Probably also in Spain as the BBBoC wouldn't even licence it.

My point is, this who discussion is moot.. but don't let that stop some good fighter bashing I guess lol

Still why couldn't he fight someone with at least 10 wins?

Money and availability most likely. Whoever is cheapest with least risk, in a situation like this, gets the nod...

People seem to forget, boxing is a business FIRST and I sport SECOND (sort of).

It’s a BS matchup but it’s a means to an end. You can’t really blame them for exploiting the system.

Even if he gets the shot, I think Zurdo, Salamov, Vlasov etc all have a good shot to beat him. He essentially only had 1 good round against Kovalev. I’d rather see Yarde tested before fighting at world level again.
