Reading some of these posts, a casual would think Whyte was some world beater.

Whyte ducked Ortiz, ducked Pulev for IBF, and ducked Joshua for a voluntary title shot. So, who is to blame there? The question is why WBC kept him at #1 ranking if he is ducking eliminators? How come Rivas became a final eliminator?

As for voluntary defense against Whyte, I think it has got a lot to do with Hearn and not Whyte himself. I guess that is why Wilder also suggested Whyte to sign up with Finkle/Haymon to make it easier to make. Eddie does not enjoy a good business relationship with Wilder's handlers since the 2017-18 talks for a fight with Joshua...the split, the location dispute, Whyte followed by guaranteed Joshua fight, Joshua instead fighting Povetkin, etc. A long history.

Long story short, it's not always about "ducking". Pulev has been mandatory since 2016 but yet to secure a fight (with lots of his own faults too). Whyte's been mandatory for what...2 months only?

Whyte is a clown. He had at least 3 opportunities to sue WBC and he did nothing. I'm sure if I said something inappropriate to him on a street he would dismantle me to pieces. But here you have WBC (not Wilder!) screwing him time and time again and he does nothing. Maybe he deserves to be fücked.
